Job Title: Senior
Human Factors Engineer
Job Description:
The Design Knowledge Company in Fairborn,
Ohio is seeking senior level human factors engineers for
possible work on research and development programs. The
engineer will work directly with customers, internal
staff, and other contractors to determine project scope
and specifications.
Qualifications:
Must possess an active Top
Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a
TS/SCI with at least 10 years of progressive industry
experience. Must be action-oriented individual who
values collaborative teaming environments and possesses
excellent interpersonal communications; ability to work
on energized and motivated teams.
Specific experience
includes:
-
Conduct human factors evaluations,
consultations, and iterative usability testing
throughout the product development cycle.
-
Act as a Human Factors lead on a new
product design programs from inception to
completion.
-
Advise less experienced Human Factors
specialists
-
Conduct contextual research with
various end users including conducting cognitive
task analyses
-
Translate, examine and apply research
results for solution development.
-
Participate on multidisciplinary
teams that includes Human Factors/Ergonomics
Specialists; Computer Science; Computer, Electrical,
Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineers.

Demonstrate the ability to support
proposal and reporting efforts

Successfully handle several projects
concurrently
Education: MS/PhD
Human Factors, Cognitive Engineering or similar.
Industry
experience as a hands-on human factors practitioner,
usability evaluation specialist and/or design researcher
is preferred.

Analyst
Job Description:
The
Design Knowledge Company in Fairborn, Ohio is
seeking junior-to-mid level analyst for possible work on
non-nuclear MASINT/AGI programs. The analyst will work
directly with customers, internal staff, and other
contractors to produce MASINT products. Candidate must
have a solid understanding of non-nuclear MASINT/AGI and
intelligence community product production, and
experience in one or more of the following
sub-disciplines: electro-optical, radar, space object
identification, laser, radio frequency, spectral and
infrared data sources & systems.
Qualifications:
Four plus years of experience with a DOD or civilian
intelligence agency. Must possess an active Top Secret
Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Candidate must have demonstrated expertise in spectral
imaging sources & systems; also familiar with the use of
ENVI, COMET, and SOCET GXP. Must be action-oriented
individual who values collaborative teaming environments
and possesses excellent interpersonal communications;
ability to work on energized and motivated teams.
Education: MASINT certification programs. DOD or
civilian intelligence community certifications. INSCOM
MASINT certification course. Degree not required, but
must have equivalent experience.

certification course.
